Resilience 101: Drop-in sessions to strengthen inner self-regulation and relational connection. Five Tuesdays at 12 Noon EDT/9 AM PDT/6 PM CEST starting September 16

This class is designed to learn skills to offset the UNCONSCIOUS impact on our nervous systems of the real events in our world by CONSCIOUSLY practicing techniques for greater inner connection to ourselves and greater relational connection with others. This will counteract our natural negativity bias and tendency for overwhelm, while it also will nourish our natural resilience*. Drop-in series on Tuesdays at 12 Noon EDT/9 AM PDT/6 PM CEST beginning September 16 for 5 weeks for one hour each time.

All are welcome. Drop in to one or all sessions. Each week we will learn and practice a different inner self-regulation skill, as well as a different principle to enhance relational connection. The class includes participating in triads or small group sharing as part of the experiential learning of relational presencing. Purpose and Guidelines for our group sharing are described HERE.

“*RESILIENCE is… the inner capacity of an individual or collective to adapt, recover, and grow in the face of challenge. It is not the absence of pain or difficulty, but the ability to stay connected to oneself and others through adversity. Resilience draws on internal and external resources—such as safety, meaning, and relationship—to transform disruption into possibility. It allows the nervous system to reorient after stress, and over time, builds the strength to face future challenges with greater presence, coherence, and care.” –From Pocket Project Annual Report 2024, p. 11

This gathering is freely offered. Donations are gratefully accepted HERE.

May this series help us each create a stronger foundation of resilience from which to care for and/or take action to benefit ourselves, each other and our world.
